    Here we present a range of Frequently Asked Questions that are designed to help you evaluate the benefits of moving to all-electric equipment and to see if this could be the right choice for your business and operations.

    HEVI is headquartered in East Windsor, New Jersey, USA, with manufacturing/ assembly located in Baltimore, Maryland.  

    We started in 2019 where we began R&D to develop our electric industrial vehicles which launched October/November of 2021.

    • No operating emissions leads to a safer site for the operator and local area
    • Less maintenance results (~60%) in a much greater ROI for organizations – lower TCO

    The benefits of electric make it perfectly suited for applications such as Agriculture, Property Management, Construction, Waste Management, Municipal, Mining, Warehousing and Manufacturing. Ideally suited for locations where the machine is required to stay on or close to base.

    Our lithium forklifts come with a charger that can be plugged into a 220 system.  The loaders and excavations can be charged with an AC or DC wall/stationery charger. 

    Our vehicles make use of LFP (LiFePO4 Lithium Ferrophosphate) lithium batteries. These batteries are the mostly widely used form of lithium battery due to their performance and cost effectiveness.

    We promote the right for clients to repair their own vehicles and make it easy to purchase proprietary parts directly from us.  In the near future, we will deploy a certified service network to support clients with repairs. 

    Yes, in fact we encourage it!  We believe that all customers and owners have the right to be able to repair their own equipment. Though we do suggest consulting a professional when it comes to maintenance or servicing of the battery system. We don’t enforce any long-term service/maintenance contracts for our equipment.

    Hydrogen power lacks the infrastructure to support operations for the normal user.  Hydrogen refill stations are sparse and establishing your own hydrogen generation system like Amazon is well outside the budget of most organizations.
